As our name describes, Union3Studio joins three services into an interdisciplinary comprehensive practice that offers full Architectural Services, Real Estate Development Services, and Management Services.  We are based in Research Triangle region in North Carolina, and we practice primarily in North Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania as well as partner projects across the county.   We are architects by training, and with experience in real estate development and self-management of our own projects, we uniquely understand the challenges and risk involved in achieving a successful project.

From initial concepts to interiors, renovations to full building design, we help our clients transform their properties into the best use of their space. No project is the same, and no solution will be either. We do more than provide a project that is “on time and on budget”. We follow our projects from initial concept to grand opening. Our sensible solutions will inspire and bring meaning to where you live, work, and play.  We have created successful projects with public, non-profit, and private developer clients and investors.

ARCHITECTURE

We are a licensed architectural practice that provides full-service design and construction administration services. We collaborate with engineers and consultants tailored to your project needs.  We task ourselves to create meaningful and sustainable spaces within your project constraints.  Our goal is to be your primary advocate throughout the design and construction process.

DEVELOPMENT

One of our core advantages is our knowledge and experience in all phases of the development and construction processes from acquisition through exit, which allows us to achieve an exceptionally high level of detail and efficiency throughout its portfolio.  We leverage our design and construction background with data driven financials.  We have strong relationships with investors and lenders, and manage funds on their behalf where we see opportunities to create value.  By overseeing the construction of our self-initiated development projects, we deepen our understanding of construction process efficiencies, freeing up funds for additional design elements and higher quality materials that ultimately enhance the value of the finished project.

MANAGEMENT

We believe in our design work and occasionally deploy our own capital toward projects that we believe in and will manage the asset for the long term.  We invest in multifamily residential, affordable housing, mixed use, commercial, and hospitality type projects.  Our integral involvement in all aspects of real estate investment and development continues beyond a project’s physical completion. With our vast experience, we focus on enhancing building environments and providing a higher standard of service to its residents, users and visitors.  This expertise allows us to make knowledgeable and informed decisions for our clients and their projects.
